An Average Day in the Life of Nursing Infographic

Ever wonder what it’s like to be a nurse? Jacksonville University School of Nursing created an infographic on the average day in the life of nursing. There are currently 2,600,000 licensed Registered Nurses in the United States, meaning 1,174,286 nurses work on an average day. On average, each nurse walks about 4 miles a day, which is nearly 1 mile more than a 5k run!  Nursing is one of the fastest growing occupation in the United States because employed registered nurses are projected to grow 26% to 3.45 million by 2020.
