Summer Camp Nurse (RN)

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is currently in need of a Registered Nurse (RN) to work as a Camp Nurse for the summer of 2025 in Burlington County!

Age group: K-6, approximately 50-60 children

Assignment: 6/24-8/15

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 7:30am-5:30pm OR 7:30am-12:15pm OR12:15pm-5:30pm

A day in the life of a Camp Nurse includes:

• To provide assessment, screening, planning, evaluation, and counseling concerning the health and medical care needs of campers.
• Works collaboratively with parents and camp staff to ensure access and continuity of care for children.
• Performs nursing assessment for campers who are ill or injured.
• Evaluates nursing care provided and changes plan of care as necessary.

You'll be a perfect fit for this position if you:

• Have one year of professional experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Possess an active BLS/CPR card.
• Possess an NJ Nursing License
• Must be willing to get your New Jersey Department of Education Fingerprints (We reimburse!)
• Must be willing to obtain a Substitute school nurse certificate. (We reimburse!)
