School Nurse (RN/LPN) - 2024/2025 School Year!

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking passionate and dedicated Nurses to join our team in Brielle, NJ. We have an immediate opening for an RN to work as a school nurse providing one-on-one care for special needs students.

As a School Nurse (RN/LPN) in Brielle, you will play a vital role in providing health services to students.

• Providing direct one-on-one nursing care to special needs students

Responsibilities:

For One-to-One Nurse:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to students with special medical needs, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and addressing any health concerns or emergencies that may arise.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with parents, healthcare providers, and school personnel to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on the student's health status and progress.
• Advocate for the student's health and educational needs within the school setting, ensuring that they have access to appropriate accommodations and support services.

RN School Nurse Job Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in New Jersey: You must hold a valid and active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR Card: Possession of current CPR Card is required to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
• One (1) year of professional experience as a Registered Nurse
• Must have seizure precaution experience
• Must be willing to get your NJ Department of Education Fingerprints (We reimburse)
