Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse in the Long Term Care setting, you will be responsible for:

• Implementing and carrying out care plans for residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Administering medications and treatments to patients as prescribed.
• Receiving and reviewing complaints and grievances, addressing and resolving them promptly and professionally.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and administration of controlled substances in accordance with care plans and regulations.
• Participating in clinical in-services to enhance your knowledge and skills.
• Conducting rounds of the nursing unit, providing ongoing assessment and support to residents.
• Assisting in the admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Registered Nurse position in Long Term Care, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid New York RN License.
• New graduates with prior LPN experience in Long Term Care will be considered.
