MRI Technologist
Location: Moorestown, NJ
Pay Rate: $40 – $45/hour
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Horizon Healthcare Staffing is hiring skilled and dedicated MRI Technologists for our client, a leading radiology clinic in New Jersey. The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality MRI scans, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the radiology team to provide accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Position Overview:
As an MRI Technologist, you will use high-field MRI magnets and advanced equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. You’ll work closely with patients to ensure their comfort, provide clear communication, and maintain compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Locations and Schedules:
  • Moorestown | Morris County: Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI scans using high-field magnets, following established protocols and safety standards.
  • Operate GE high-field MRI equipment and ensure proper equipment functionality.
  • Provide patients with clear communication, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and understanding.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Accurately maintain records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
  • Participate in quality control initiatives and stay current with advancements in MRI technology through continuing education.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, including radiation protection measures.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Certification: ARRT(MR) certification is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of MRI experience is required.
  • High-Field Magnet Experience: Required.
  • GE High-Field Magnet Experience: Preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and a commitment to patient care.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
