Job Description:

Horizon Healthcare Staffing has immediate opportunities for friendly, dedicated, and flexible CNAs available for Long-Term Care facilities located throughout New Jersey! We are eagerly seeking per diem CNAs, with the opportunity to transition into contract work as available. The CNAs will assist nurses on various units with direct patient care, including daily living activities, vital monitoring, and patient comfort. The ideal candidates must be flexible with working days and hours.

Locations:

• Fair Lawn, NJ
• Ridgewood, NJ

Shifts Available:

• 7am-3pm
• 3pm-11pm
• 11pm-7am

Schedules Available:

• Weekday and weekend shifts available at the discretion of each facility
• Per diem staffing and contract staffing available

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Serve meals, make beds, and keep rooms clean
• Answer calls for help and monitor changes in condition or behavior
• Test and chart vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar levels
• Transfer, lift, turn, and re-position patients
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations
• Assist nurses with catheters and IV Management

Qualifications:

• Previous CNA experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Active NJ state CNA License
• Current CPR or BLS
