Job Title: CPCU Registered Nurse

Job Location: Suffolk County

Shifts: 12 hour night shifts

• Must have cardiac experience / CCU

The Registered Nurses work closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of dedicated social workers, pharmacists, cardiac rehabilitation nurses, highly-specialized cardiologists and thoracic surgeons. CPCU Nurses should be ALCS certified; they receive specialized training and expertise to manage patients with art lines, swan ganz catheters and numerous titratable cardiac drips.

The Cardiac Progressive Care Unit provides an intermediate level of care to cardiac patients with a variety of diagnoses, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, myocardial infraction, angina and arrhythmias. Post-operative care is provided to patients that have undergone open heart surgery, heart catherization/angioplasty, stents, heart transplantation and placement of pacemakers and defibrillators.

• At least 2 years experience
