Job Title: Junior Recruiter

Job Description:

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is searching for a Junior Recruiter for our main office in Hicksville, NY. You will be asked to recruit and onboard therapy professionals (occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, COTAs, and PTAs) for our organization. You will be asked to use many different methods of recruitment, determine where and what the candidates are looking for, determine if they are a fit for open positions, and credential the candidates. This person should have excellent phone skills and a “go-getter” attitude.

Job Details:

This is a Monday-Friday position. You will be asked to work from 11am-7pm. There will be salary plus commission.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
• Cold Calling
• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
