RN/LPN Eating Disorder Treatment Facility

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) interested in working at a youth eating disorder treatment center located in Chester, NJ!

This facility is the first residential level treatment program in New Jersey providing intensive treatment services for girls and young women with eating disorders.

Schedule: Every Saturday or Sunday + 1 day during the week

Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm

Responsibilities

• Complete Nursing assessments and Nursing plan of care upon admission
• Administer oral medications
• Work closely with the Medical and Psychiatric provider in carrying out all orders
• Schedule appropriate appointments for the patients
• Evaluate all weekly lab results and communicate them to Medical/Psychiatric provider
• Work closely with the clinical team in implementing treatment interventions
• Provide meal support with patients as needed
• Report to the Director of Nursing

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN or AAS degree is preferred
• Previous experience in behavioral health, eating disorders and working with adolescent populations is preferred
• Current BLS certification
