PET/CT Technologist
Location: East Brunswick, NJ
Pay Rate: $60/hour
Position Type: Permanent
Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced and dedicated PET/CT Technologists for one of our radiology clinic clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PET/CT imaging, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and a focus on patient comfort and safety.
Locations and Schedules:
  • East Brunswick | Middlesex County: Monday - Friday, shift times will vary based on need

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Perform PET and CT scans using state-of-the-art equipment, following established protocols and safety standards.
  • Provide clear communication with patients, explaining the procedures and addressing any concerns to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to produce high-quality diagnostic images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures and patient details.
  • Participate in quality control initiatives and remain up to date with continuing education on advancements in PET/CT technology.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including radiation protection measures, to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Licenses/Certifications: NJDEP State License and CPR certification required. ARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT for fusion modality required. ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in PET/CT imaging.
